Bathroom Essentials | Gifted

We all have our holy grail of personal hygiene products, whether that be a favourite scent or a favourite brand.

I recently went shopping to stock up on toiletries and was conscious that I reached for specif products/brands regardless of price. This interaction inspired me to put together this list of my holy grail items, maybe I’ll inspire you to try something new!

Polaar Genuine Lapland Body Balm

I got my first Polaar product in the form of hand cream from a beauty subscription box and I fell in love with the scent and the feel of it – so I decided I wanted it all over my body!

My favourite is the Genuine Lapland Cream Moisturising Body Balm and I got mine from Amazon* as it was the cheapest option for this side of the pond. A little goes a long way with this product so the price tag is worth it.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash

I am a serial facewash-er, always switching from one brand to another – I got this daily facewash in a Christmas gift box and I like it that much I repurchased which is unheard of for me.

This product gets used morning and night with an electronic face cleaner – it leaves me feeling refreshed and clean, plus I have seen a definite improvement in my complexion since using it.

Electronic Face Cleaner

These types of products first piqued my interest while scrolling through Instagram. My skin is fairly sensitive and I didn’t want to invest in case my skin reacted badly.

I found this one on Amazon for a very reasonable price and it is fantastic – it runs on batteries, and gets into all the nooks and crannies of the face general washing would miss.

BETA FEM | Gifted

Feminine hygiene – a taboo subject that is only spoken about on the corners of the internet. But this should be an open and honest conversation across all platforms and channels!

BETA FEM gifted me their amazing products to try out – a daily feminine wash and a foam wash. I have been using these products for a few weeks now, and they have revolutionised my shower routine.

I have PCOS which can affect down there, and these are the first products of this kind that I have used to battle some of the superficial symptoms of PCOS.

The scent is lovely, yet subtle, and a little goes a long way. Plus, with an affordable price tag – I would suggest every woman who reads this tries them at least once. My favourite of the two is the foam version – it feels more controlled.

I just wish they had some travel size products for my holiday later this year but I can always re-bottle the body wash.

Mango & Papaya Imperial Leather

Shower gels are my guilty pleasure – I am a big fan of fresh citrus smells, but I am also partial to a coconut (or two!). Not the biggest fan of sweet artificial scents but this one is like a perfect mix of the fresh fruits with some natural sweetness.

I got this bottle from Poundland, of all places, so the value is there.

Also, while we’re on the subject… Poundland is fantastic! You can get so many brands and products there at such affordable prices, and honestly if carrying a Poundland bag is the only thing you are worried about then take your own.

Charcoal Body Scrub

So, this purchase was an impulse buy during some retail therapy and it was 100% worth it.

For £3 the jar is massive and it feels amazing! I use it before and after shaving my legs, before a fake tan,  and it makes all the difference. I got this around 6 months ago and I am still on the same pot. It has a long shelf life at 12 months too.

Let me know your ride or dies below.
