December Favourites | 2019

It’s so close to the end of the year I can almost taste the champagne and hear Auld Lang Syne in the distance!

It has been a crazy year for me – I left a toxic job and joined a fanatic new company and team, went on my first holiday with my boyfriend, saw Kings of Leon plus some other fantastic gigs at Fusion Festival and across the UK, went to Harry Potter Studio Tour in London, continued with Open University after a rocky last year,  and set up my blog! It has been a year of great life decisions.

As for 2020… we have loads planned from holidays, gigs and more so I will have some great content coming your way over the next 12 months.

And, to wrap up the year I would like to share with you some of December favourites…

Mayhem White Wireless Ear Buds

I got these as a Christmas present from Aiden and they are fantastic – I’m actually using them now to listen to some music while I write. I would actually say they are just as good as the Apple Airpods and at a decent price point too! If you want to try out wireless earphones but don’t want to commit to the Apple price, these are a great option.

Get them from Next for £22.00.

New hair, who’s this?

As a Christmas present from my parents I got my hair done so I went shorter and blonder and I am loving it – I feel like a whole new person! Shout out to the team at Kiwi who did a fantastic job at colour correction and made me feel like a princess at my Christmas Party.

Another December favourite is the top that I am wearing in the image above – this is from Yours and it is the most flattering and comfy top I have worn on a night out in a long while, plus it’s on sale!

Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special

Let’s talk about the fact that I laughed like a maniac at the end and nearly threw something at the TV – can we get a new season, please!!!! No spoilers guys.

Six The Musical

I’m not screaming, you’re screaming – Aiden got me tickets to see the six ladies themselves in Coventry, UK in June 2020 and I am so HYPED!

The Tudors are my favourite royal dynasty and I love the story and politics of that era and I have played the soundtrack so much it was in my Spotify Wrapped playlist. I am very excited to go and bop along to all the songs.

And, as my honorable mention… here is Don’t Lose Your Head:
